Why Shampony
Healthy skin grows beautiful coats.
Shampony started with a love for horses, handmade soaps, and ingredients so good they still make me smile while working.
But over time, it became something more specific:
A focus on skin.
Because a shiny coat is not created by gloss.
It grows from balanced, comfortable, functioning skin.
I wanted grooming products that are fair in price, thoughtful in ingredients, practical in use, and kind to both horses and the environment — but above all, supportive of the skin barrier that keeps horses comfortable in real weather, real seasons, and real life.
Made to be used
Solid bars last longer, create less waste and avoid transporting water across countries when it’s already available at the stable. There are no filler ingredients — each biodegradable ingredient is chosen for its specific contribution to your horse’s skin comfort and coat strength.
Healthy skin is resilient skin.
Resilient skin grows stronger hair.
Stronger hair tangles less, breaks less, and shines more.
Our tins are made from metal with a high recycled content.
Metal can be recycled again and again without losing quality — and it’s sturdy enough to withstand Rose, our most curious and determined horse friend, and her own thorough durability testing.
Care as a quiet ritual
Grooming is often the calmest part of the day.
It’s where the rush stops, hands slow down, and attention shifts from doing to being. A small pau
se shared between horse and human — sometimes muddy, sometimes tired, always meaningful.
Shampony is built for those moments.
