What it does

Scratch That Wash Bar lifts dirt and buildup, supports greasy roots, and provides a gentle clean in areas that tend to become itchy or flaky. Unlike traditional lye-based soaps which have a high pH, this uses "syndet" surfactants. These are much closer to the natural pH of a horse's skin (around 7.0 to 7.5), ensuring you don’t strip the natural protective oils of the coat.

 

Why it works

We simply use ingredients loved for their gentle, balancing, skin-friendly qualities:

  • Rhassoul clay — This mineral-rich clay gently lifts deep-seated dirt and dander without being abrasive, which is excellent for cleaning thick manes and tails.

  • Neem oil — rescues oily, sweaty or irritated skin.

  • Black cumin seed oil — prized since Ancient Egypt and often used for skin that needs a little extra support

  • Colloidal oatmeal & panthenol — A gold-standard ingredient for stopping the "itch-scratch" cycle 

All packed into a long-lasting solid bar that lathers beautifully and rinses clean.

 

How to use

Wet the area thoroughly. Glide the bar directly onto the hair and down to the skin.
Use plenty of water — that’s what wakes up the bar and builds those soft bubbles and creamy lather.
Massage for 30–60 seconds, then rinse lightly.
